VEGEMAT FLEX: applications requiring flexibility

VEGEMAT CER: applications requiring rigidity.

VEGEMAT FIB: applications requiring good temperature resistance.

Transformation of the Vegemat:

Implementation on thermoplastic injection molding machine
Multi-cavity molds with hot runner
Thin walls from 0.5 mm
Reintegration of regrind from 5% to 25%
0.3% shrinkage

Its advantages :

A mixture of biopolymers and cereal flours.

The history of Vegemat: The origin of Vegemat dates back to 1996, when Vincent Pluquet approached the Toulouse University in order to recycle agricultural waste. It was only in 2003, after seven years of research, that this revolutionary material was developed.
